Responsibilities

• Architecting and building features in their entirety Code using Ruby on Rails, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery
• Developing backend application modules or enhancing existing web components
• Coaching junior developers and performing code reviews
• Technical design of digital assets with special focus on reuse, libraries and scalability
• Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various components
• Quality Assurance with existing testing team

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience developing and debugging rails applications
• 4+ years of experience in JavaScript, CSS and HTML5, HAML, SASS, Coffee, jQuery
• Experience in agile Teams
• Experience in developing and using APIs (RESTful, JSON)
• Experience with mySQL
• Experience in test driven development (TDD), Test First, Unit Tests
• Experience running production systems
• Knowledge of functional programming
• Fluent in English

Pluses

• Experience with Paperclip, ImageMagick, Papertrail
• Experience with AngularJS and/or Angular6+
• Experience with GITLab
• Experience with JIRA Projectmanagement
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
